In November, there will be three services at St John’s, when we will be joined by Paul Miller playing the trumpet. They are: All Saints, 3 November at 10:00, Remembrance Sunday, 10 November at 10:15 and Christ the King, 24 November at 10:00.
The Remembrance Day service includes Pie Jesu from Faure’s Requiem, Nimrod by Sir Edward Elgar and Solemn Melody by Walford Davies. The Last Post and Reveille will be played during the Act of Remembrance.
On 24 November, Sir William Walton’s Crown Imperial March will be played. On 3 November at 15:00, there will be a service when those who have died this year will be remembered.
