Magic Radio presenter Emma B will be raising money for Caterham Foodbank at her fourth annual ladies only Stir-Up Sunday Fundraiser this November.
Stir-Up Sunday is a centuries-old tradition, where home cooks spend the last Sunday before Advent ‘stirring up’ their Christmas pudding.
Emma is an award-winning DJ who has been at the top of her industry for nearly 25 years. She’s a proud Caterham resident and a keen supporter of the Foodbank, as well as a huge foodie and keen family cook, so her Stir-Up Sunday Fundraiser is a real passion project for her.
“Women often do the lion’s share of all the Christmas preparation, whether that’s cooking or present buying, so this is a lovely opportunity for local business owners, friends and colleagues to get together, stir a Christmas pudding, make a wish for the next year and support the Caterham Foodbank. Oh, and yes…there’s a glass or two of fizz and a mince pie, of course!”
Emma B’s Stir Up Sunday Fundraiser will take place on Sunday, 24 November. For further information on the event, and how to support the foodbank, contact Emma on emma@edmemusic.com or via her website or Instagram. Find out more about Caterham Foodbank here.
