Limpsfield pub raises more than £4,000 for the Royal Marsden

Historic pub The Bull Inn in Limpsfield held a charity night in July in aid of the Royal Marsden, raising a total of £4,100 for the Royal Marsden Hospital, including £300 from a dunk tank, which soaked many of the pub’s consenting regulars.

The event was arranged to support The Bull’s bar manager Kylie Thorley’s 50km walk from Eastbourne to Hove on 7 September, which she is undertaking with friends Lauren and Emily to raise further funds for the hospital.

Manager Claire Whittle said, “Our amazing local community helped raise a huge amount for the Royal Marsden Hospital. We are blown away by the support and couldn’t have done it without the help of our amazing Limpsfield and Oxted businesses, customers and friends who donated fabulous gifts which went into our raffle and silent auction. A brilliant evening was had by everyone.”

The Bull Inn has thanked everyone involved, including the prize sponsors:

Bey Tree Boutique, Kate Tulett’s Art for All, Balman Aesthetics, Coffee at Kiwi House, Free to Be Yoga, The Haycutter, Botley Hill Farmhouse, Star Barbers, Kinjo, Thai Pad, Hammond’s Wine Bar, London Golf Club, Tandridge Golf Club and Ashley Louise / The Green Room.
