Oxted’s Head2Head Sensory Theatre has won an award at the recent 2024 Club Hub Awards.
Club Hub is the UK’s largest directory designed to help parents find local clubs and activities for their children quickly and easily. These are the only national awards for children’s activity providers where entry is by application form only and there is no voting.
Each entry is independently reviewed by a panel of judges, and the finalists are shortlisted based on ‘their commitment to excellence, innovation and growth of their business, demonstrated through their business performance, achievements, brand values and passion for what they do.’
Head2Head won Best Non-profit Business of the Year at the award ceremony, which was held on Saturday, 11 May at the MacDonald Burlington Hotel in Birmingham. Founder Anni Rhodes Steere said they were ‘deeply honoured’ to receive it.
“This recognition reaffirms our commitment to serving children with special needs and to making a positive impact on their lives,” she said. “Meeting fellow Club Hubbers was inspiring, and we look forward to collaborating with local members to create even greater change together in the future.”
Head2Head Sensory Theatre is a small charity creating imaginative ways to make theatre and film accessible to all.
For more than 18 years it has helped thousands of families to enjoy Makaton-friendly theatre experiences as well as now providing a free YouTube learning channel.
