Curious young minds from all year groups had the opportunity to meet and question Conservative MP Claire Coutinho on Friday, 26 January.
They discussed a range of issues, including disabilities and learning difficulties in educational settings, and climate change and energy usage in the UK.
Claire, who is the MP for East Surrey, shared stories about her early life and career path and gave the students an insight on what it is like to be an member of parliament. She also shared her enthusiasm for maths. The students were particularly intrigued by her stories that included going into tunnels underneath London to look at the electricity supply.
What an experience!
