Fine & Country Raise Money For The Caterham Food Bank

It may come as a surprise but our estate agency run a Homeless Foundation from our Park Lane Head office and nationally raised over £1,000,000 last year to fund local Homeless projects throughout the UK.

In the Autumn we held a Charity Music event kindly hosted by The Woldingham Village Club.

Raffle prizes were kindly donated by Alice Rose Gifts, Alan Jackson,
Buxwoth Homes, David Fanthorpe, Sue and Mick Offer, Lisa and Mark Pacey,
The King & Queen Caterham, Christian Cars, North Downs Golf club and a kind soul. A Caterham based band, ‘Chase The Tail’ kindly played at no charge and I can now report that we raised £2,600 for this much needed cause.

A short talk about the work of the Caterham Food Bank was given by one of their trustees, Mr Steve Bidwell, and I know many who attended were surprised to learn of the desperate circumstances people of all walks of life face and the urgent need for the foodbank. Of how in the blink of an eye, lives can descend into desperation and poverty. Anyone wishing to volunteer at the Foodbank can contact ‘info@caterham.foodbank.org.uk’

Many thanks to everyone who supported this fundraiser which we hope to run again this year.
