Tandridge District Council election results

Tandridge District Council held local elections across 18 wards on 2 May, with an overall turnout of 35.8%.

After new boundaries were drawn out for Tandridge’s council wards in October 2023, the TDC carried out an all-out election, meaning all councillor seats were up for election. This is why multiple councillors have been elected in some wards in order to represent the electorate.

The councillors elected for each ward were:

Helena Windsor – Independent – 604 votes

Louise Case – Bletchingley and Nutfield Residents – 518 votes

Richard Fowler – Liberal Democrat – 501 votes

Turnout: 35.9%

Burstow, Horne and Outwood

Ashleigh Bolton – Burstow, Horne and Outwood Residents – 825 votes

Sue Farr – Burstow, Horne and Outwood Residents – 800 votes

Richard Smith – Burstow, Horne and Outwood Residents – 799 votes

Turnout: 29.2%

Chaldon

Lewis Sharp – Conservative – 367 votes

Turnout: 39.8%

Dormansland and Felbridge

Lesley Steeds – Conservative – 705 votes

Nicholas White – Dormansland and Felbridge Residents – 655 votes

Nicola O’Riordan – Dormansland and Felbridge Residents – 591 votes

Deborah Sherry – Independent – 477 votes

Turnout: 42.2%

The election for Surrey’s Police and Crime Commissioner was also held on 2 May, with an overall turnout of 35.7%. Lisa Townsend, Conservative, who has held the role since 2021, was re-elected after receiving 95,538 votes across the whole of Surrey, of which 9,012 votes came from Tandridge District.
