1: You were at the club on loan last season, what made you want to make the move permanent?
I was really pleased that the club wanted to sign me permanently. The most important thing for a player is to feel trusted and supported by the manager, the fans and everybody else at the club. That is what I have at Crystal Palace, it gives me confidence and motivates me to repay that faith.
2: You’ve had a good start to the season, scoring 4 goals in 11 league appearances, you must be enjoying your run in the team?
It has been a good start to the season, but I always strive to do more. Last season I was working hard for the team but maybe not scoring as many goals as I wanted. I am happy that my hard work is paying off this season, but I am not finished yet and hopefully there are plenty more goals to come.
3: On a personal note, what are your aims for the season?
If the team does well then that makes me happy. Some players set themselves individual aims but if I am playing well, making the manager and the fans happy and the club is high up in the table then I know I am doing my job.
4: Just 4 points separate 7th and 15th place, with Palace in 13th – how high can the club finish this season?
I think we were a little unlucky that we have had such a tough run of fixtures recently, as we probably deserved to pick up a few more points than we have. It has been a promising start to the season but we need to keep focused and pick up as many points as possible over the Christmas period. In January we’ll have a better idea of where we can aim to finish.
5: Who is the best trainer at the club?
All the boys put in the work, everything we do in training is preparing us for matchday so everyone gives 100%
