The Salvation Army is a Christian church and registered charity, which aims to support those in need whatever their situation or background. The Caterham chapter has just celebrated its 112th anniversary, and has also recently appointed a new minister, envoy Ailsa Flinders.
Sunday morning church takes place at 10.30am every week, and all are very welcome to attend.
Other popular events include its popular Knit and Natter group, which is held every second and fourth Tuesday morning of the month, as well as its Ladies' Evening on the third Monday of every month.
The Carols by Candlelight service is the 22 December 2019, at 16:30, at the new Westway Community Centre in Chaldon Road, Caterham on the Hill.
