The Oxted Inn, on Hoskins Walk, has been included in the 2023 CAMRA Good Beer Guide, one of 15 new Surrey pubs to be featured in its 50th edition.
The pub, a Wetherspoon freehouse, stands on land which was once railway sidings. It is notable for the many clocks that decorate the bar area, a reference to Oxted's geographical position on the Greenwich Meridian.
The Good Beer Guide is compiled annually by independent volunteers, reviewing 4,500 of the uK's best pubs on criteria such as beer quality, pub history, facilities and events.
Its 50th anniversary edition was published on 27 October.
