The children of Essendene Lodge School, Caterham, welcomed Ailsa Flinders, from the Caterham Corps of the Salvation Army, to their recent Harvest Festival celebrations. Harvest songs were sung, Ginger the puppet was on hand to promote his message of thanks and sharing, and many food donations were received, all of which will go directly to help local people in need.
If you would like to donate store cupboard items to the Salvation Army (at any point during the year), please contact Ailsa on 01883 330718.
The Salvation Army is a registered charity and Christian church which meets for Sunday worship at the Westway Centre in Caterham, starting at 10:30. All are welcome.
