Many services are taking place across the district on 13 November. We have listed a few here but please check with individual churches and parishes.
Bletchingley
There will be wreath laying at the War Memorial at 10:50, followed by a Service of Commemoration at St Mary’s Church at 11:10.
Burstow
There will be a service of Morning Worship at 9:30, concluding with the reading of the Roll of Honour, an Act of Remembrance, wreath laying and a two-minute silence.
Caterham
A procession will start at the War Memorial on the High Street at 10:00, with wreath laying and a two-minute silence at St Lawrence’s Church, and a service at St Mary’s.
St John the Evangelist's Remembrance Service begins at 10:15.
Chaldon
St Peter and St Paul will hold their Remembrance as part of their 10:30 Sunday Service.
Godstone
A service will be held at Godstone Baptist Church, starting at 10:30.
Horne
There will be a service of Morning Worship at 10:00 at St Mary the Virgin, concluding by the War Memorial for the reading of the Roll of Honour, an Act of Remembrance, wreath laying and a two-minute silence.
Hurst Green
A service at St John the Evangelist will start at 10:00, following which wreaths will be laid at the Hurst Green Memorial.
Lingfield
A service will take place at the War Memorial at 10:45. A Festival of Remembrance service will be held at Lingfield Parish Church at 19:30.
Limpsfield
A service will take place at St Peter's Church at 10:00. There will also be a parade, with the British Legion planning the parade road closure from 10:30 – 11:30.
Nutfield
A Service of Commemoration will take place at the Church of St Peter & St Paul at 10:50.
Outwood
A procession will begin at the church hall on Wasp Green Lane at 10:45, going to St. John’s Church, Brickfield Road, for an 11:00 service.
Oxted
A procession will begin at the Oxted Royal British Legion at 10:15, going to the Memorial by Master Park for 10:30 for prayers and wreath laying. The parade will leave at 10:50, for a 10:55 service at St Mary’s Church.
Tandridge Village
A service will start at St Peter’s Church at 10:55.
Warlingham
A parade will leave the Scout Hut at 10:30, reaching the Green by 10:45 for a service, including a two-minute silence, a reading of names and wreath laying.
Woldingham
St Paul's Church will start with wreath laying at 10:55, followed by a one-minute silence and a service.
Whyteleafe
The 10:30 service at St Luke's Church starts outside for the laying of the wreaths and a two-minute silence, before continuing inside.
