Pupils from local primary schools have enjoyed a special visit from writer, poet and former Children's Laureate, Michael Rosen.
The event was delivered by the East Surrey Learning Partnership at Caterham School, and aimed to inspire the children by giving them the opportunity to hear from one of the UK's most cherished children’s authors. The pupils, who attend one of the partnership’s participating schools, were captivated by Michael’s storytelling, asking lots of questions, and almost raising the roof with their enthusiastic responses.
The East Surrey Learning Partnership is a group of primary and secondary schools working together to increase learning opportunities, among other activities. The partnership was established in 2018 by Caterham School and supports both pupils and teaching staff.
