Do you own a car and live in the RH8 postcode? Would you like to help older people get out and socialise? Are you interested in volunteering once a month?
Help Age UK Surrey by becoming a volunteer driver!
You can lend a hand by driving members to Age UK Surrey’s Tea and Chat social event at the Bluehouse Lane Social Centre in Oxted, on the first Tuesday of every month.
You’ll collect your clients between 13:30-14:00 and take them to the centre, and then return them home again from 15.30-16:00. Drivers are welcome to stay at the Tea and Chat session if they choose to.
Age UK requires experienced drivers of 18+, as occupants will be elderly, frail and with mobility issues. A current driving licence, MOT, vehicle tax and car insurance are also needed for the role.
