Craft In Focus was set up by Rob Chapman 20 years ago. As a craft maker, he was beginning to feel disillusioned by the increasing tendency of craft fair organisers to allow bought-in and imported work. He decided to create his own events company, which would have a strict selection policy of only selecting the very best UK-based professional designers, artists and craft makers.
With two decades of successful craft fairs under its belt, Craft In Focus will be returning to the fabulous gardens of Hever Castle, childhood home of Anne Boleyn, from 8 – 11 September.
Visitors will have a great opportunity to view and purchase work from an outstanding display of contemporary craft and art, ranging from home accessories and interior design items, artwork and textiles to glassware, jewellery, garden art and furniture.
Rob explains:
"We are delighted to be returning to the beautiful setting of Hever Castle, which makes an ideal backdrop for an event of this calibre. Our event is a high-quality contemporary craft fair: exhibitors and visitors appreciate the fact that we keep our standards high and have stuck with our principles of only allowing work made by the exhibitor to be presented, with no bought-in, mass-produced or imported work. This has really set us apart from many other craft fairs."
Admission to the grounds of Hever Castle also allows entry to the craft fair, and reduced priced tickets can be purchased online in advance, using the discount code CRAFT2022.
