Oxted Festival 2022 an 'incredible event'

The 2022 Oxted Festival, held in Master Park, saw many acts entertaining the crowds, including headliners Scouting for Girls, B*witched and Randy and the Rockets. More than 4,000 people attended on Sunday, 3 July, and over 160 volunteers donated their time across the three days to ensure everything ran smoothly.

Run by non-profit organisation the Oxted and Limpsfield Community Sports Association (OLCSA), the festival first began in 2012. All profits from this annual event are donated to local charities, good causes and sports clubs, with St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley being the main beneficiary this year.

OLCSA chairman Peter Hanrott stated he was extremely proud to be involved with such an incredible event, and that there was definitely also an element of relief it had been so successful, after a two-year pandemic hiatus.

Next year’s festival date has been scheduled for 7 – 9 July and planning is already underway. For further information visit: oxtedfest.co.uk.
