If sweating in the confines of a gym doesn’t appeal to you, how about taking your training to a stunning open air setting in Bletchingley, instead?
WildFit Surrey is a new outdoor fitness course which embraces open fields and woodland, and features more than 30 obstacles over a 500m trail. Located on a 10-acre farmland site on the outskirts of the village, it was founded by sports scientist, fitness trainer and author Ollie Martin, who ran an indoor gym there for almost 20 years.
Natural, fun and always different
With exercises based on natural movements, including climbing, balancing, lifting, tyre rolling and rope swings, no two workouts will ever be the same. There is a power play square for warm-ups, games and activities such as boxercise, and everything is focused on your personal fitness goals. Ollie believes that exercise should always be enjoyable:
“Our aim is that WildFit Surrey is fun, natural and motivational. Time spent here is always exhilarating, and lifts the spirits in a way that pounding a treadmill simply can’t.”
Suitable for all
The circuits are suitable for all ages and all levels of fitness, while the obstacle course can also provide a challenge for even the super fit. Everything is overseen by friendly and highly trained instructors.
Your first trial session at WildFit Surrey is free. Subsequent sessions are £15, or you can purchase a membership, which includes personal training and unlimited circuits. Team building sessions, holistic retreats and children’s birthday parties are offered, too.
