Surrey County Council (SCC) has announced that Ukrainian nationals who have arrived in Surrey under the Homes for Ukraine scheme can apply for free temporary bus passes on their most used route. Everybody over 5 years old can apply for the three-month pass (children under five do not need one), which can be shown to the driver or tapped on the ticket machine on boarding the bus.
The following bus operators are supporting the scheme: Compass Travel, Falcon Coaches, Metrobus, Reptons Coaches and Stagecoach, with SCC hoping that more will join soon.
The pass can be obtained by filling out an application form on the SCC website.
