If you live in Caterham, then it is possible you are already familiar with Stephen James, who can be seen helping his community on a daily basis. In recent times, Stephen has been employed as an official litter picker by Caterham Valley Parish Council, spending the early hours of the morning working hard to keep the area’s streets clean. Stephen’s pride in his work is obvious, and he has proved himself to be extremely loyal, conscientious and trustworthy.
However, Stephen now feels that the time has come for him to retire, and 4 June will be his last day working for the parish council. Stephen has asked the Tandridge Independent to pass on his thanks and gratitude to everybody who has acknowledged and appreciated his dedication to the town. We would like to wish Stephen all the best for the future!
