Café 181 recently opened at Oakhall Church, in Caterham on the Hill. It serves hot and cold drinks, as well as delicious pastries and cakes, every day (except Sundays) from 9.30 – 12:00, (16:00 on Tuesdays and Saturdays). Free parking is also available.
The cafe is non-profit-making and offers an innovative ‘Pay it Forward’ scheme. When paying for their own order, customers can also purchase a voucher, which they then stick to a board. This, in turn, allows others, who may not be able to afford refreshments, to redeem the voucher for a drink and cake of their choice.
