Music Man Project comes to Caterham

Caterham Salvation Army, along with Enabled, recently hosted an exciting day of music at the Westway Centre.

The Music Man Project is an international music education service, giving children and adults with learning disabilities access to music in a fun, interactive setting. A group of 20 people, with their carers or family members, enjoyed a day of singing, and music making with percussion and ukuleles, helped by a visiting team from the charity, and local volunteers.

It went so well it is hoped it will become a regular Friday evening event at The Westway. If you know someone who would like to join in, volunteer for a couple of hours or who could transport the instruments to the weekly sessions, please contact Ailsa at Caterham Salvation Army, on 01883 330718.
