On 16 and 17 September this year, Ridge Radio DJ Kat Henry will be competing to win the title of Ms Great Britain 2021.
It is not the first time she has entered the competition. Kat, a Zumba instructor and plus-size model, was placed 2nd runner-up in last year’s Grand Final. She was also crowned Ms British Beauty Curve 2015/16, and Ms International Curve 2017/18.
Kat hasn't allowed a tough 18 months – including family bereavements, illness and redundancy – to hold her back. She has used the time to successfully launch a new career, as well as studying for, and passing, fitness qualifications. She is also a social media influencer, and promotes herself as an advocate for fair and equal representation for all shapes, sizes, races and abilities.
