Old Caterhamians RFC minis and youth girls are back training again

With the relaxing of the latest lockdown restriction, the girls are looking forward to a summer of rugby. The RFU are allowing mini and youth teams to continue tag training throughout the long summer months, in preparation for matches. All our girls are excited at the prospect of playing once more.

Rugby is a sport that combines fitness with skill, awareness and team play and is truly a sport for all. No matter what your strengths, there is a place for you! Small and annoying? You could be a natural scrum half. Supter strong but can’t run 100m in one go? Maybe you are a forward. Quick thinking, strong and fast? Perhaps you’re a natural full back, or a centre. Are you really fast, and a good kicker and catcher? A place on the wing could be yours.

If you are a girl of nine or above and would like to have fun getting fit and playing rugby with other girls, then please get in touch.
But it’s not just the girls who are back: we are also recruiting right across the club, from players of four years old and upwards. All training sessions are in full compliance of current covid regulations and the RFU road map for the return to rugby. Email us: minis@oldcats.co.uk
