Zabardast, the Indian Wrap Company, is providing free hot meals to three local hospitals in Surrey and South London, after the founders raised £1,000 from public donations in just ten days.
The money is being used to make and deliver batches of curry and biryani rice to East Surrey Hospital, St Helier Hospital and Croydon University Hospital.
Director Neelofar Khan said:
“The virus is still at large and our NHS frontline is working even harder. We wanted to make sure our local NHS staff felt just as valued and appreciated as ever.”
