Warlingham Sixth Form College now has a brand new, purposely-refurbished Student Centre, which was designed in consultation with students and opened in September with many of the features that are provided in a modern university.
The study area offers brand new computers and a well-equipped collaborative study room with multimedia availability.
The lounge area is bright and airy with high speed Wi-Fi access and is equipped with multiple power sockets with USB ports so students can charge their personal devices. There are vending machines, a kitchen and café area, and students have access to the servery at break and lunchtime to buy coffee, snacks, and meals. Double doors lead from the café area into a new garden and patio where tables and seating provide a private space for students to relax and socialise with their friends.
Students now access the College via their own secure pedestrian gate, using their ID badges to sign in and out. They also benefit from Warlingham’s impressive sports facilities, including a swimming pool, floodlit Astroturf and fitness suite, as well as a sports hall and gymnasium.
