The coronavirus outbreak has increased the pressure on the valuable work carried out by Caterham Foodbank, which operates out of Caterham Baptist Church on Beechwood Road.
The Rotary Club of Caterham has made a donation of £1,000 towards the foodbank's running costs, enabling them to continue helping those struggling financially.
Stephen Bidwell, chairman of the trustees of Caterham Foodbank:
"We wish to thank Caterham Rotarians for their generous donation. It will play a part in helping people get through the pandemic."
