When lockdown prevented the 2020 London Marathon from going ahead on 26 April, AJ's Run School decided they would organise a virtual marathon relay in its place.
Two teams of ten runners, #teamalix and #teamjo, took part. Each competitor ran 2.6 miles on their own before passing the virtual baton on to a teammate via AJ's Whatsapp group.
Both #teamalix and #teamjo ran the equivalent of a marathon between them, with #teamalix winning overall by just four minutes.
AJ's raised over £450 for their chosen charity, Stripey Stork.
