de Stafford School held their annual spring production in February, which, this year, was Legally Blonde.
Students from all year groups were invited to audition in the autumn term, and the school discovered some exceptional theatrical talent in the process.
Months of hard work culminated in a performance filled with energy and humour. The vocals were exceptional: the students involved are likely to have some incredible opportunities ahead of them.
Lead cast:
Elle Woods played by Liliana Stanzione, year 11
Paulette played by Isabel Ankers, year 11
Emmett played by Samuel Murphy, year 10
Warner played by Joseph Arnold, year 10
Vivienne played by Naomi Downs, year 9
Callahan played by Zachary Jennings (Head Boy), year 11
(We are also giving credit to the cute and very well-trained dogs that performed, and are owned by Miss Woods and a fellow student!)
The band was formed of students and teaching staff members and directed by head of music Mrs Waddell. The production was directed by drama teachers Mrs Streeter-Staniford and Mrs Boffee.
From the action on stage, through the set design to the various backstage roles, the children of de Stafford school produced an outstanding show.
