New Sight Clinic to open in Caterham Valley

Sight Problems are often not understood by many people can take the gift of sight for granted. Macular Degeneration impairs sight and many are unable to cope with their daily needs as a result of it.

The Macular Society started in 1987 and the support group in Redhill started in 2015. The group aims to provide entertainment and activities for those with sight loss. It hosts speakers and encourages its members to share experiences while making friendships. They also introduce gadgets and information which may help on a day to day basis.

The Caterham Macular Support group group will be starting in Caterham Valley Library on the 14th February (2-4pm). For further information please contact Joan on 01883 622815.
